Greetings from Yuma, Arizona. The object of the Historical Research Project was to learn about a historical event, person, place, or thing in Yuma, Arizona. My topic was Medicine in Yuma.The project was six weeks long and included a Project Proposal, Annotated Bibliography, and Outline. These are included on my Pre-Work page under Portfolio. In this section I have included my long script, podcast recording, and five photographs with works cited.

                                                                                            This project was beneficial because it helped me practice writing a historical research paper and its pre-work, and gave me a good review on the MLA format. I loved this project because I was able to research in the Arizona/Yuma Historical Society and the World Wide Web. It gave me great practice using online and non-online references.  In China we have a proverb that translated means the sharpest memory is worse than the palest ink. It is my hope that you learn something new and are inspired to remember and document the past.
